Percent Active Time

This setting affects the estimated maximum number of days the StepWatch can record. To preserve memory space, the StepWatch uses a data compression strategy for consecutive zero count (inactive) intervals. This means that the amount and distribution of time a person is inactive determines how quickly the StepWatch memory fills during recording.

The default Percent Active Time is 35%. We recommend that you do NOT change this setting unless you plan monitoring sessions longer than 4 weeks with either an extremely active or extremely inactive population. If this is the case, contact Cyma technical support for advice.
